Honestly, I don’t have a problem with the limitations of the lore or storytelling in Zombotron.It’s the way the story ends on a cliffhanger before any of the overarching plot stuff has been resolved that gets under my skin; games that focus primarily on their stories can get away with cliffhangers because there’s a certain level of investment there, but it feels unearned in a game like. Zombotron is an old-school Metroidvania style of game. You are stuck on a hostile planet with tons of aliens that want you dead. Get new weapons, abilities and kill, kill, kill as you try to survive.
